The Vitality Ritual: MLD + Therapeutic Massage

This is not just a massage - it’s a journey.

Your two-hour experience begins with the gentle sweep of dry brushing, awakening the skin and stirring your body’s inner currents. As you sink deeper, a seamless blend of manual lymphatic drainage massage activates the parasympathetic nervous system (the body’s natural “rest and digest” mode) priming your muscles and fascia to respond more effectively to deeper work.  Light, feather-like strokes calm the nervous system and move lymphatic fluid while skilled pressure via the therapeutic massage melts away hidden knots. All this while being cocooned in a weighted blanket which are known for their “deep pressure stimulation,” which reduces cortisol (stress hormone), boosts serotonin (happy hormone), and can enhance parasympathetic activation. Tension dissolves, circulation and lymph flow freely, and a quiet euphoria lingers long after.

Perfect for: Those seeing a unique experience that restores balance, optimizes recovery, and elevates your overall vitality.

For general stress relief and wellness we recommend scheduling a massage every 4–6 weeks. If you're addressing chronic pain or a specific injury, your therapist may suggest more frequent sessions until the issue resolves, then transition to maintenance visits.

You'll start with a brief consultation to discuss goals, pressure preferences, and any health concerns. After you're comfortably draped, your licensed massage therapist will apply customized techniques—ranging from Swedish to deep-tissue—using professional oils or massage lotions. Expect soothing music, optional aromatherapy, and time at the end to hydrate and review at-home care tips.

Only if you want to. Most clients undress fully, some keep underwear on - it’s completely up to you. You’ll always be covered except for the area being worked on, so your privacy and comfort are fully respected. Strict sheet draping is enforced at all times in accordance to Florida law.

Massage should never feel like torture. You may feel “good pressure” when your therapist works out knots, but sharp pain or being uncomfortable is never the goal. We encourage you to always speak up during the session for your therapist to adjust their pressure. Everybody is different, and your comfort is our top priority.

In most cases, yes, but some conditions require modifications which is why we have you fill out our massage intake form prior to arriving. It is important to let your therapist know if you’re pregnant, recovering from surgery, or managing a chronic condition. We’ll adjust techniques (or recommend specific treatments, like prenatal massage) to keep you safe. In some instances, we require a doctor's note authorizing the massage, such as right after surgery. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to call us to discuss.

Before your massage, arrive hydrated, avoid heavy meals or alcohol, and wear comfortable clothing. After your massage, keep drinking water, rest if your body asks for it, and notice how you feel? Do you feel lighter, looser, calmer? You may want to skip strenuous workouts the same day so your body can soak in the benefits.

It happens all the time and in fact, we consider it a compliment! :) Snoring, drooling, tummy gurgles… it's your body is just letting go. And if you’re worried about areas you don’t want touched, simply let your therapist know before we begin or specify what areas to avoid in your massage intake form.
